Job Description Job Description Job Title: Control Panel Builder
Job Summary: The Control Panel Builder is responsible for the
fabrication, wiring, assembly, and testing of industrial electrical
control panels in accordance with engineering drawings, schematics,
and applicable codes and standards. This role requires strong
hands-on electrical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to
work independently or as part of a production team to deliver
high?quality, compliant control panels. Key Responsibilities: Build
and wire industrial electrical control panels according to
electrical schematics, assembly drawings, and bills of material
Fabricate and assemble control panels while adhering to quality and
safety standards Install components such as PLCs, HMIs, relays,
terminal blocks, power supplies, and variable frequency drives
Perform point?to?point wiring, panel layout, drilling, tapping, and
mounting of electrical components Conduct routine electrical
troubleshooting, testing, and verification of completed panels Read
and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical
documentation Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow
all safety procedures Assist with inventory management and
preparation of materials for upcoming projects Support training and
mentoring of junior panel builders or new hires as needed Required
Qualifications: Proven experience building and wiring industrial
control panels Strong understanding of electrical control panel
wiring and components Ability to read and interpret electrical
schematics and blueprints Proficiency with hand tools and power
tools used in panel fabrication Knowledge of industrial electrical
standards and safety practices Job Type & Location This is a
Permanent position based out of Oakland, NJ. Pay and Benefits The
pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $64500.00/yr. health
dental vision 401k program pto, vacation, holiday sick time accrued
Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Oakland,NJ.
