Education Sr. Project Manager - Civic & Education Position Overview
The Sr. Project Manager will oversee and manage large and complex
construction projects within the civic and education sectors. This
role requires strong leadership skills to coordinate various
stakeholders, ensure project timelines are met, and maintain
quality standards throughout the construction process. Key
Responsibilities Lead and manage civic and education construction
projects from inception to completion. Coordinate with architects,
engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are
met. Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and reports.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes,
including OSHA standards. Facilitate communication between clients,
contractors, and team members to ensure project goals are achieved.
Implement and monitor project management tools and software such as
MS Project, Timberline, and Vista. Provide leadership and direction
to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any
issues that arise. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction
Management, Engineering, or related field. 10 years of experience
in project management within the construction industry. Proven
experience in managing large and complex construction projects,
particularly in civic and education sectors. Strong understanding
of general contracting and construction management principles.
Familiarity with LEED AP and DBIA certification processes.
Knowledge of safety standards, including OSHA 10 certification.
Proficient in project management software such as MS Project,
Timberline, and Vista. Excellent communication, leadership, and
