As an intern, you will participate in our nationwide Internship & Co-Op Program, LEAP, where you will have the opportunity to Learn, Engage, Apply, and Progress within the company. This is a summer/fall position that has a typical timeframe of April-August. Internships and Co-ops may be shortened or extended at the discretion of the company. In this position you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems Business at our Sterling Heights facility. This position is expected to be onsite in Sterling Heights, MI. Relocation, will not be offered. Housing is not provided. As a Program Management Intern, you will:Provide support in the following areas:Financial management-track progress to all financial salient objectivesCost management-track cost and project future costLogistics management-review and update technical manualsSupply chain management-monitor supplier cost and progressRequired Education, Experience, & Skills Pursuing a Business or Engineering Degree or related field of studyMust be a US Person due to the nature of our businessRequires good written and verbal communication skillsFamiliarity with the Microsoft suite of office products (Word, Excel, Outlook (e-mail), PowerPoint, etc.)Good problem solving skills and well organizedSkilled at preparing briefings in PowerPoint and using Excel to analyze data related to business and operationsComfortable in front of a group and able to explain data and informationPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills Prior intern/Co-op experience preferred but not requiredPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $39160 - $52910Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.Temporary employees generally are not eligible for BAE Systems benefits, but can elect to participate in the 401(k) savings plan.
