As a key player in Detroit's resurgence, DMC is a diverse and significant employer in Southeast Michigan.Position Summary:The Strategic Planning Director is responsible for managing the Certificate of Need (CON) regulatory functions, including coordination and submission of applications, liaising with various departments, and overseeing regulatory affairs with the State of Michigan. The role involves preparing and analyzing CON applications, monitoring projects, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.The Director will develop and implement CON approval strategies, support strategic planning and financial forecasting, and represent DMC in dealings with state agencies to foster community relations and secure federal funding. Responsibilities also include grant proposal development, compliance monitoring, and ensuring diversity objectives are met within hospital departments.Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• At least five years of progressive experience in finance or accounting, preferably in healthcare.
