Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A part-time
Occupational Therapist is needed in a K-12 school setting located
in Sterling Heights, MI. This contract position offers a focused
opportunity to provide valuable support to a diverse student
caseload, helping to enhance their educational experience and daily
functioning. Key Responsibilities: - Deliver occupational therapy
services to a caseload of approximately 10 K-12 students. - Assess,
plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions that
support student development and educational goals. - Collaborate
with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate
therapy goals within the classroom environment. - Document student
progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to meet evolving
student needs. - Manage initial increased hours at the start of the
contract to complete necessary comp time, transitioning to a
consistent schedule thereafter. Details of the Role: - Part-time
schedule: 1 day per week, from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM (7.5 hours). -
Start date: Immediate availability preferred. - Contract end date:
June 12, 2025. - Location: Sterling Heights, Michigan.
Qualifications: - Valid Occupational Therapy license. - Experience
working with K-12 school populations, particularly in educational
settings. - Ability to manage a caseload effectively and maintain
clear, detailed records. - Strong communication and collaborative
