Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/30/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Assignment Overview - Shift: Days, 3x12hrs - Hours: 36 hrs/wk - Start Date: Mar 30, 2026 - Length: 13 weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position in Michigan with active BLS, ACLS, and a current MI RN license. Details - Work in a hospital-based Cardiac Cath Lab setting - Schedule is weekend only, Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts - No on-call requirements but optional pickup is available - Care for patients before, during, and after angiography and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures - Assist with procedures including stress testing, echocardiograms, and interventional radiology tasks - Uses Epic EMR; prior experience preferred Requirements - Active Michigan RN license required - Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certification required - Recent Cath Lab RN experience required - Work history and a Cath Lab skills checklist current within one year required - Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required - Experience with interventional radiology, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and intraaortic balloon pump operation preferred - Epic EMR experience preferred - At least one year of electrophysiology experience preferred Additional Information - Responsibilities include pre-procedure assessment, patient education, scrubbing in for procedures, and post-cath care - Assist with sedation monitoring, Holter and event monitor applications, pacemaker interrogations, PICC insertion, and vascular access - Team support with opportunities to enhance cardiovascular education materials and programs - No local candidates within a 50-mile radius will be considered - Up to 5 days of requested time off may be approved if submitted at time of application - Dress code requires appropriate hospital-approved scrubs American Traveler Job ID P-669040.
