Job Description:
Seeking experienced OTR CDL-A Truck Drivers to handle long-haul
deliveries across inter-state routes. As a key part of our
logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods
safely and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery as per scheduled
commitments. Ideal candidates should be comfortable with extended
periods of travel and possess the ability to manage the challenges
of long-distance transportation. Safely operate a
tractor-trailer/truck to transport goods and materials over long
distances. Plan route logistics and meet delivery schedules. Comply
with truck driving rules as well as with company policies and
procedures. Collect and verify delivery instructions. Report
defects, accidents, or violations. Handle documentation related to
cargo, route, and fuel. Maintain communication with dispatch and
respond to dispatch instructions appropriately. Inspect vehicles
for mechanical items and safety issues, perform preventative
maintenance. Proficiency in operating CDL-A licensed vehicles.
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations. No
recent moving or driving violations. Adaptability to handle
unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.). Ability
to drive long hours and travel regularly. Excellent organizational
