Job Description Job Description Field Service Technician – West Texas (Travel Role) Short?Term Project | March–April $25/hr Paid Travel | Contract We are hiring a Field Service Technician for a short?term, store?by?store retail hardware deployment across West Texas , including the following locations: Odessa, TX – 6209B Hwy 191 SR WB Midland, TX – 3200 N Loop 250 W, Suite 100 Abilene, TX – 4757 Southwest Dr San Angelo, TX – 5825 Sherwood Way Project dates for stores will fall between March 5, 2026 – April 9, 2026 , depending on location. Job Overview You will travel to assigned retail stores to complete payment?device hardware upgrades following a clear, step?by?step playbook. What You’ll Do Replace legacy PIN pads with M450 devices Route, secure, and clean up cabling Test and validate device functionality with store leadership Complete verification forms and upload documentation Capture required photos at each register Requirements PC Technician or Field Service experience Strong troubleshooting and installation skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Cable management experience preferred Must pass a 7?year lived check Tools Needed Bring Your Own: Screwdriver set Box cutter Tamper?proof bit set Wire cutters Provided/Expensed: Velcro straps Zip ties Mounting tape Alcohol wipes Travel Pay Mileage paid for travel beyond 50 miles or 1 hour Hotel covered for longer routes Per diem for approved overnight stays Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Texas , with work performed onsite at stores listed above. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 – $25.00/hr . (Full list of eligible temporary?role benefits remains unchanged.)
